The 1990s were a hustling and bustling time.
Motorola had established a Motorola SPS in Austin, Texas.
Ben Streetman purportedly knew some one at Motorola judging
by the covers of his books at that time.
By the way, that was after he had met Sandra Tretter in 1988- 1990 time frame.
Tretter was purportedly worked for Dennis Deppe, although
I never saw them together.
I did see Ben Streetman and Sandra Tretter, together but probably
on a introduction to ENS visit.

I took 1 course from Jack Lipovski, after I was introduced
to those on ENS floor 4, and the course was Introduction to Computer Architecture.

I tested a LS 161 synchronous counter by first configuring it
I took the output of each flip flop and gated it to the input of the next stage

I got successive oscillating frequencies of 1000/2, 1000/4, 1000/8 and 1000/2^4
at the output of each flip flop
(D Flip flop)
